This course gives a general and complete overview of the world of cryptocurrencies, blockchain applications and decentralised finance. The course is organised in a narrative format, interrupted by practical examples that also the participants can try on their own computer to better understand the internal dynamics of this technology and to be able to deal with its problems. There is a small section where we provide short pieces of code are given to dive inside the smart contracts. Finally, we show, and have the participants test, decentralised applications of cryptofinance, a world where the home user can perform operations such as finance an enterprise or borrow against collateral that are up to now reserved for financial intermediaries.
